If you were following along on Instagram via Stories during my trip to Umbria & Tuscany, I shared that while there I received some amazing news…

I was accepted into the James Beard Foundation Legacy Network Program! It is a 7 month program from September 2023 - March 2024. The James Beard Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to celebrate, support, and elevate the people behind America’s food culture and champion a standard of good food anchored in talent, equity, and sustainability. 

The James Beard Foundation Legacy Network trains emerging BIPOC leaders across the culinary industry and connects them with future generations of excellence. I will be specifically focused in Wine & Spirits together as a cohort and also working with a Leadership Coach and Legacy Advisors. 

Members of the cohort include emerging chefs, food journalists, and even a Food Network Chopped contestant and what makes this even special is that as the Founder of NOIRE I was selected as the only Wine & Spirits professional—so honored!
